Ways to work together
Most couples who reach out have already tried talking about it. Many have tried therapy. What they usually haven't had is someone who will sit with both of them long enough to find what's actually underneath the fight, and who can hold them both while they go there.
"I've been in therapy. I've read the books. But this was the first time we actually talked without blaming or shutting down."
LauraHow this is different

The resentment that's been sitting there four years. The trigger that isn't really about your partner at all. The thing that happened when you were nine and still runs the room at forty. We find those, bring them into the open, and actually resolve them. Until that happens, no communication technique holds.

I don't take sides. If one of you walks out feeling like the defendant, I've failed. I've never met a person without injuries, myself included, and two people who built a life together are each carrying something real.

Holding a room is the particular thing I am good at, whether that is two people, a group retreat or a workshop of a hundred. I'm not a therapist. I don't do fifty minutes a week for two years while you spend most of it catching me up on the weekend. I work in blocks, mostly in person, because that's where the shift happens.
"The main reason we saw Jeff was because we weren't communicating well. We were constantly poking at each other and not hearing each other. The hardest part was forgiveness, really letting go and feeling that your partner forgives you. Everything shifted."
Michelle"Opening your heart to love deeply and fully isn't easy, but Jeff takes you through the steps of connection and forgiveness to get there. You'll go through your past, and pain, into the light and love."
Christina"It is rare to find a male facilitator so committed to the experience and voice of a woman. He can handle serious subject matters with safety and care, as well as welcome fun, joy, anger, sadness, sensuality and playfulness with equal attention."
SuzyThree ways in
Find the pattern. Go under it. Put real tools in your hands. Make it yours, so you don't need me. What changes between them is how deep we get to go, and how much time we have to do it.
Ninety minutes on one specific thing, on Zoom. A good way to test the water or get unstuck on a single recurring issue.
Couples are welcome, and individuals can take this alone. Often the change starts with one person having the courage to name the pattern.
"When Jeff speaks to you, it is as if you are the only thing that exists. He helped me access my own inner wisdom and dive with it into my subconscious, where previously hidden limiting beliefs were now visible to me, clear as daylight. I leave every session with a new perception of what's possible."
Nizar, facial plastic surgeonA container with a rhythm, so momentum never dies between sessions, which is where most couples work quietly falls apart. We choose the pace together based on what you're carrying.
Sessions over Zoom, paced to suit you. A deeper version adds individual time with each of you alongside the joint work.
"We learned real strategies and tactics to handle future disagreements calmly, effectively, and with love."
Curt, CEOThis is the work I'm known for and where I've seen the biggest shifts, including with couples who arrived certain it was over. Phones off. The outside world gone. Built around your particular relationship rather than a curriculum.
Five hours, in person. Long enough to get past the surface. You leave with your dynamic named out loud, at least one real thing resolved, and a practice to take home.
Three months, brought to you. Half days in your home with calls in between, so something happens every two weeks and the work never goes cold.
A held container designed to bring you back into contact with each other underneath everything that's accumulated. For couples who need to feel it again before they can work on it.
Several days, the full reset. I meet each of you beforehand to learn what you most want changed, then build the container around your specific relationship. My deepest work.
The deepest version
Three days, built for you and your partner alone, somewhere the outside world can't reach you. A rite of passage for the relationship to move to another level, where you both feel fully seen, heard, understood, respected and loved, even in conflict.
Individual sessions with each of you beforehand, so I find the real root of the disconnection and the patterns holding it in place. Your retreat is then designed around that, not around a curriculum.
Sessions afterwards, because the gap between a breakthrough and ordinary life is where most work quietly disappears. The commitments and the tools stay alive.
The cost of staying in a relationship that is less than the one you both know is possible is high. So is the cost of divorce, financially and to a family. This is built to be worth it.
It starts with a conversation, not a deposit. Twenty five minutes on the phone with me, free, and it does not have to be both of you. One person wanting something better is a real place to start.

"I am blown away by what we've accomplished in just a few short days. We both had masks that we wore to protect ourselves. You put these things on, you pretend to be something you're not, to cope. Now we're getting the more authentic, real essence of each other, and it's maddeningly beautiful."
Tanya, after her retreat"Our relationship has seismically changed because of this retreat. We had a chance to safely communicate, clear and repair items that had been significantly impacting us, in a more effective way than our attempts in previous traditional couples therapy."
Suzy"We wanted to reconnect to the people who fell in love with each other 25 years ago. It was uncomfortable at times, but allowing ourselves to sit in the discomfort led us to the gift of our deep abiding love and respect, coming free from all the weighty issues we allowed to weigh us down. My husband and I would recommend Jeff to any couple. Unreservedly."
JenHalf of my work
Something is ending, or something needs to. A relationship, a way of working, a version of himself that got him here and won't get him further. My work is helping a man move through that chapter instead of around it.
When it is about a relationship, a lot of it is this. Most men were never taught how to stay present when someone they love is in pain. We were taught to fix it, defend against it, or leave the room. So we work on holding real space for a woman, hearing what she's actually saying instead of the accusation you think you're hearing, and on the harder thing underneath, which is learning to feel your own stuff without needing it to go away immediately.
This isn't about becoming softer or smaller. It's about a man who is grounded enough that his strength is safe to be near. Men of the heart who are still fully men. That combination is what lets the people around him relax, and most of us were never shown how to get there.
Phone or Zoom, through the chapter you're in. Support for the breakthroughs and for what comes after them.
A custom one-on-one retreat built around you, with a preparation call beforehand and an integration session afterwards so it lands rather than fades.
"I found the experience to be profound and transformative. In this space you are safe, free of judgement, and positioned to show up into your best self. Above all it's a call of love, for love. I urge you to answer the call."
Adrian"I have never in 25 years seen [my husband] open and respond to anyone like this. I am so grateful I don't know what to do with myself."
TanyaCamp Brotherhood is a group men's retreat in the woods, run with a brother of mine. Play as boys, rise as men.
It is not the muck. The one to one work above goes down into what hurts. Camp goes the other direction: rebuilding masculinity from the inner child up, through play, adventure, competition, fire and being genuinely witnessed by other men. You leave with your self worth rebuilt, which is what actually holds a man up under the demands of a modern life.

Before any of that
I wrote Win Together because I kept teaching the same things in rooms and wanted couples to have the tools at home, for when they're needed most. It's a workbook, not a book you read once. Spiral bound so it lays flat, with practices, prompts and space to write.
Some couples use it entirely on their own and make real progress. Most find it gives them a shared language, then want help with the deeper things underneath.
What people say
"You saved my marriage and had a monumental impact on me personally."
Cody, CEO"For the first time ever I was able to speak my appreciation, frustration and truth as he held space for me with total attention and respect. It was a deeply healing experience that healed years of repressed feelings."
Marina, founder"I have been more communicative in my relationship than ever before. I feel like I am more open to expressing my feelings and thoughts."

Let's talk
We look at what's actually going on, what you want on the other side of it, and I tell you what I would do about it. If that's something I can help with, I'll say so. If it isn't, I'll say that too. I only say yes when it's a full yes from all three of us.
